Integrated Marketing & Brand Storytelling

East Bay SPCA
Marketing Strategy • Content Development • Campaign Management

Overview:
As Marketing Manager for East Bay SPCA, I lead the organization’s integrated marketing strategy — developing campaigns that build awareness, drive engagement, and strengthen the emotional connection between people and animals.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Content & Storytelling: Launched their blog/newsfeed and gave a platform to establish our experts as thought leaders in the world of animal welfare. Created adoption stories, donor highlights, and press features that showcase the organization’s mission and deepen community trust.

  • Digital Strategy: Oversee website content and optimization, develop campaign landing pages, and manage digital engagement initiatives.

  • Brand Development: Ensure consistent visual and narrative identity across all materials — from print collateral and social campaigns to donor event assets.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with Development, Programs, and Veterinary Services to align marketing initiatives with organizational goals.

  • Media & PR: Craft press releases, coordinate media coverage, and amplify key milestones through strategic outreach.

Impact Highlights:

  • Elevated storytelling quality and social media engagement through ongoing campaign series: “Happy Tails,” through the newly launched blog and through improved social media strategy.

  • Supported donor growth through compelling event collateral and targeted communications.

  • Strengthened East Bay SPCA’s public presence through consistent voice, visuals, and data-informed strategy.
