Transformative Leadership Storytelling
Leadership transitions can define an institution’s culture and future. When Kehillah Jewish High School prepared to welcome its next Head of School, it was essential to communicate the change with transparency, warmth, and clarity for students, families, and the broader community.
As Kehillah announced its next Head of School, I guided messaging and press coordination to frame the leadership change as a moment of renewal.
Even though the blog is no longer active, the storytelling, visuals, and messaging from this project continue to connect with Kehillah’s community through social media and archived communications.
My Role
I led content creation and messaging strategy for the school’s blog and digital communications around the leadership transition. My work included:
Drafting blog posts, announcements, and email communications that balanced respect for the outgoing leadership with excitement for the incoming Head of School
Curating and editing visuals and photography to complement the narrative and humanize the story
Coordinating social amplification of content, ensuring posts resonated across the school’s platforms
Maintaining brand voice, tone, and clarity while supporting a major institutional announcement
Results & Impact
Successfully guided communication for a high-profile leadership transition, strengthening community trust and engagement
Amplified the school’s messaging through social channels, ensuring that the content remained visible and impactful even after the blog was retired
Created lasting digital assets and templates for future announcements, supporting ongoing content strategy
