Elevating the Stanbridge Academy Story

Stanbridge Academy’s 40th anniversary presented the perfect opportunity to celebrate the school’s legacy of inclusion while strengthening its digital presence. I supported both the school’s blog and donor communications, helping shape stories that celebrated the neurodivergent community and the impact of philanthropy on student success.

Stanbridge Academy’s 40th anniversary Ruby Gala was more than a fundraiser — it was a reflection of four decades of impact within the neurodivergent community. The event offered an opportunity to connect the school’s legacy of inclusion with its forward-looking vision.

I partnered with the Stanbridge team to refine storytelling across event materials, digital content, and donor communications.

My Role

Working across departments, I refined messaging, design assets, and web content to ensure consistency and clarity. I also introduced foundational SEO and analytics tracking — giving Stanbridge the ability to monitor engagement and make data-informed content decisions moving forward. My work included:

• Editing and optimizing blog posts and event coverage, including the Ruby Gala feature story

• Establishing SEO best practices across web pages and posts (titles, keywords, metadata, and alt text)

• Setting up and interpreting early Google Analytics dashboards to track page performance and audience engagement

• Collaborating with the advancement team to align event storytelling, social promotion, and donor communications under one cohesive message

Results & Impact

• Created the school’s first data-informed framework for blog and web analytics

• Strengthened overall brand visibility through improved SEO and consistent voice

• Enhanced donor engagement and alumni connection by blending storytelling with clear, celebratory messaging

• Helped lay the groundwork for more strategic, measurable marketing moving forward
